Song Joong-ki Spotted With Wife and Two Kids Near Seoul Park

Actor Song Joong-ki has been spotted enjoying a family outing in Seoul. Photos show him with his wife, Katy Louise Saunders, and their two children.

The photos and eyewitness accounts have recently circulated across online communities and social media. They show the family walking near Banpo Hangang Park, a riverside park along Seoul's Han River. Song, his wife, their son and their daughter can all be seen in the photos.

Song kept it casual in a hat and comfortable clothes as he pushed the stroller himself. The couple's younger child, their daughter, sat inside, while Saunders walked alongside their older child, a son.

The son drew particular attention. Now three years old. he has reportedly grown to about the height of Song's waist.

One person who claimed they saw the family in person described the boy smiling and greeting people nearby. The daughter, meanwhile, reportedly sat quietly in the stroller throughout the outing.

Others also shared their experiences of seeing the couple in public. "I've run into them a few times, and they seemed like a happy family," one wrote. "Song Joong-ki gives off a family-man, young-dad vibe. He handled the stroller and all the bags himself. His wife also seemed like a bright, kind person."

Another person who said they lived in the neighborhood also shared their experience. "I'm a local, so I often run into them on walks, and they were really friendly," the person wrote. "We even made some small talk. He was so much more approachable than the image I had of him that I suddenly felt like I knew him."

Song announced in January 2023 that he had registered his marriage to Saunders, a British former actress, and that the couple was expecting their first child. Their son was born in June 2023, followed by their daughter in November 2024.

For a star whose private life drew heavy attention when the marriage was first announced, the latest sightings point to something simpler. Nearly two years after the birth of their second child, the couple is just another pair enjoying an everyday family outing with their children by the river.
