NCT DREAM Brings '70s Disco Back With 'Boogie Woogie'

NCT DREAM is preparing to unveil the first live performance of its new title track, "Boogie Woogie," at a showcase in Seoul on Nov. 12.

The song leads the group's sixth studio album, "DREAM AFTER DREAM," which will be released Nov. 9 with 10 tracks spanning different musical styles.

"Boogie Woogie" is an uptempo dance track combining 1970s disco-funk influences with modern synthesizers.

Its lyrics celebrate NCT DREAM's 10 years together, expressing gratitude for the people who have made that journey meaningful. Member Jaemin participated in writing the lyrics.

The choreography follows the song's upbeat rhythm, featuring a signature move in which the members swing their fists from side to side during the chorus.

Later sections include freestyle-inspired movements and a sequence in which the members move together in a line, resembling a train.

Choreographer Leejung contributed to the performance, reuniting with NCT DREAM after previously working on "CHILLER."

The group will debut the full routine at its album showcase, "The Harvest Day – DREAM AFTER DREAM," at Cube Convention Center in Seoul's Mapo district on Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. KST.
