"I've lost 10 kilograms since our last comeback," Ko Gang Hun said.

The drummer of Dragon Pony revealed his weight loss during an interview at the KPOPIT office in Seoul's Jung District on Nov. 3, ahead of the release of the band's new single, "Calling back."

Dragon Pony members An Tae Gyu, Kwon Se Hyuk and Ko appeared noticeably slimmer during the interview. When asked about his changed appearance, Ko said he had lost 10 kilograms.

Ko explained that a conversation with his bandmates had motivated him to lose weight, Kwon shared how that conversation began.

"When we release new music, we have to work on the songs, but we also have to take concept photos and film a music video together," Kwon said. "Ahead of this comeback, we openly talked about what each of us could work on."

Now in their third year since debut, Dragon Pony has also taken on a more mature appearance.

"We looked a little younger when we first debuted," An said. "Over time, we've all lost some baby fat and grown up a bit."

The members also shared their thoughts on being called an "idol band."

"We haven't defined exactly what kind of band we are," Kwon said. "We want people to love us for our music, but also for who we are as individuals. We're happy to be called whatever people like."

Ko said he appreciated both descriptions.

"When people simply see us as a band, I'm grateful because it feels like they think we're doing well musically," he said. "We also put effort into our appearance, so when people call us an idol band, I'm thankful that they've noticed that side of us too."

Dragon Pony will release its new single, "Calling back," on Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. KST. The single contains two tracks: the title song of the same name and "Back when we were young."

The band will also hold a two-day solo concert titled "Calling back" on Dec. 5 and 6 at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Seoul's Hannam-dong.
